Oklahoma got a boost this past weekend at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.
Kinzie Hansen, OU’s 2021 NFCA Second Team All-American and a selection for the 2022 USA Softball Women’s National team, returned to the lineup after missing the opening two weekends of the season due to what she classified as a “mishap with (her) appendix.”
Despite the setback, Hansen looked right at home. Across the five-game slate, she combined to hit 4-for-13 with nine RBIs, including a pair of home runs in the Sooners’ 14-0 drubbing of then-No. 1 UCLA. Click here to read more.
