The Thunder are currently on a two game winning streak after their victory over Portland yesterday.
Utah has won two of their last eight games and is 3-0 against OKC.
Extraordinary Efficiency
The Jazz have one of the most efficient offenses in the league. Leading the NBA in offensive rating (116.3), Utah has seemingly come together offensively.
Choosing wise shots, the Jazz lead the league by finishing 55.7 percent of their effective field goals and rank fifth in overall field goals where Utah makes 47 percent of their attempts.
Rudy Gobert contributes by shooting at a 70 percent clip from the field this season. His shot selection is smart and he always gets to his sweet spots on the court.
Mr. Mitchell
Donovan Mitchell has been Utah’s biggest offensive threat this season. He is a dynamic scorer that is difficult for many opposing defenses to handle.
Over his past three games, Mitchell has averaged 29 points per game at a 49.6 percent clip from the field.
Containing a player like Mitchell will be a challenge for the Thunder.
Hoard-ing All the Attention
Despite only signed to a 10-day deal, Jaylen Hoard has produced impressive numbers.
In his NBA debut, Hoard scored 11 points and grabbed 20 rebounds. Against the Trail Blazers Hoard recorded another double-double with 24 points and 21 rebounds.
OKC will need Hoard’s board snatching skills against Utah.
Notable: The Jazz rank sixth in the NBA in second chance points. Averaging 14.5 points per game in that area, OKC will need to focus on grabbing defensive boards.
