Three Quick Takeaways From Oklahoma’s Win Over Tulsa
Both sides of the ball fired on all cylinders as No. 19 Oklahoma blew out Tulsa on Saturday.

TULSA — Oklahoma closed its non-conference slate in style.

The No. 19-ranked Sooners blew out Tulsa 66-17, as hoards of crimson-clad fans took over H.A. Chapman Stadium.

Brent Venables’ team enjoyed a blistering start, as OU (3-0) led Tulsa (1-2) 28-0 by the end of the first quarter.

Now Oklahoma will turn its attention to Cincinnati, as the Sooners look to open Big 12 play with a victory next Saturday.
