ATLANTA — For the second time in the last five years and sixth time in program history, Oklahoma is headed to Super Regionals.
Facing one of the best offenses in college baseball history, the Sooners stunned No. 2 national seed Georgia Tech with its second straight comeback victory in Monday’s winner-take-all matchup, beating the Yellow Jackets 8-7 in 10 innings.
Senior Dayton Tockey was the hero, hitting a solo home run 454 feet over the batter’s eye in center field to walk the game off and send Oklahoma to the Lawrence Super Regional, hosted by Kansas, this weekend.
