Sooners Add Transfer Klanjscek

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma head men’s basketball coach Porter Moser announced the addition of graduate transfer Maks Klanjscek to the 2023-24 roster on Wednesday.

Klanjscek spent last season at Houston Christian, starting all 32 contests during the 2022-23 slate. He averaged 15.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals per outing.

The Ljubljana, Slovenia, product, tallied 10-plus points in 22 games and averaged 23.1 points per outing over his final 10 contests. Klanjscek shot 39.9% (155-388) from the field, 35.2% (69-196) from three and 79.4% (100-126) from the free throw line.
