NORMAN — Due to predicted rain and lightning in central Oklahoma Saturday morning and potentially into early afternoon, the OU Athletics Department has announced that the Sooners’ spring football game that day will be pushed back to 2:30 p.m. CT. Gates at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium are scheduled to open at 1 p.m.
The athletics department also announced that its “Party at the Palace presented by Allstate” pre-spring-game fan festival on the north side of the stadium has been canceled.
