FORT WORTH, Texas – The top-ranked and No. 1 overall seed Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team is still dancing and one step closer to its ultimate goal.
The Sooners finished in second place in the NCAA Championships Semifinal II on Thursday night with a 198.1625 in front of 4,665 fans at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, to advance to the NCAA finals for the 10th consecutive year. Oklahoma’s score marked its highest ever in NCAA semifinals action and fifth highest at an NCAA Championships semifinals or finals meet.
OU is the only program to advance to every NCAA finals competition since 2013.
