The top-ranked Sooners, 28-1 on the year and 6-0 in Big 12 play, return to Hall of Fame Stadium on Friday, the site of OU’s three straight national title wins.
Patty Gasso’s team has made the site of the Women’s College World Series a constant fixture on the schedule, from the seemingly yearly trip every June to a number of regular season games in Oklahoma City — including last year’s contest against Texas that set a single-game attendance record in the sport.
