Providence pushed No. 19 Oklahoma for nearly 30 minutes in the Big East-Big 12 Battle at the Lloyd Noble Center on Tuesday night, keeping the contest a one-score game deep into the second half.
But then the stops started to come for OU.
The Sooners held Providence scoreless for nearly five minutes, punctuated by a transition steal from OU center John Hugley IV, who found Otega Oweh at the rim to fuel a 15-0 run that blew the game open.
