NORMAN — Business picks up for Porter Moser’s Oklahoma Sooners this week.
No. 19 OU hosts the Providence Friars (7-1) Tuesday night at the Lloyd Noble Center before closing the week with a matchup against Arkansas in Tulsa.
Later in December, the Sooners (7-0) will take on No. 9 North Carolina in Charlotte, but Moser said his team is laser-focused on the Friars.
“It’s a great Big East team,” Moser said on Monday. “Lot of tradition with Providence so they’re really really good. They’ve got one loss and it was in overtime (against Kansas State)… I think it’s a top 15 team. Just watching so much on them on tape, how physical they are, they’re good on both ends. They’re old.
