OKLAHOMA SOONERS
A sloppy road performance got the best of Oklahoma on Wednesday night.
Traveling to TCU for the No. 9-ranked Sooners’ first true road game of the year, OU became the fourth top 10 team to fall over the last 48 hours.
The Horned Frogs forced 14 turnovers, and pulled away from OU late to seal a 80-71 victory at Schollmaier Arena.
It was the first setback for Oklahoma in Big 12 play, as the Sooners dropped to 13-2 on the year, and 1-1 in the league. TCU moved to 12-3 overall, rebounding from Saturday’s loss to Kansas to also pull to 1-1 in the young Big 12 season.
