NORMAN — Javian McCollum wasted no time introducing himself to the Big 12.
Taking on the Iowa State Cyclones for the first time in front of a packed Lloyd Noble Center, the impact transfer was a steady hand in the conference opener for the No. 11 Sooners.
He scored the first points in each half for Porter Moser’s team, including an open 3 and a runner off a quick burst into the lane to start the second half and halt a 6-0 Iowa State run.
