The Oklahoma State Cowgirls returned to the States this weekend for the Clearwater Invitational.
The Cowgirls were firing on all cylinders in all five games in Florida, which led to them being 5-0 Thursday-Saturday.
Kiley Naomi and Chyenne Factor led the charge in the first game in a run-rule defeat over Texas A&M.
Katelynn Carwile got things started in the first inning with an RBI-single that scored Rachel Becker. That marked the fourth straight game that OSU has grabbed the lead in the first inning.
The fifth inning is where it was blown wide open, and there was no looking back.
Kiley Naomi hit the first bomb of the inning when she crushed a two-run home run to put OSU up 3-0.

Later that inning, it happened again as Factor hit a three-run home run to put them up 6-0
Kelly Maxwell was her usually dominant self as well as she struck out 12 batters and only gave up four hits against the Aggies as OSU won 8-0.
A similar result happened in the second game with a run-rule defeat over Nebraska.
Pitching was a factor this time as freshman Kyra Aycock took the circle for the Cowgirls.
She was near perfect for OSU as she only gave up one hit and racked up five strikeouts.
Carwile and Morgyn Wynne each had 4 RBIs against the Cornhuskers.
Wynne put the game in run-rule territory as she racked up a three-run home run in the fifth inning.
The fifth inning was the final inning as OSU routed the Cornhuskers 10-0.
Virginia Tech is where things got interesting for the Cowgirls
The game was back and forth the whole time, for both teams racked up double digit hits each in the contest.
After Virginia Tech scored two runs in the second, OSU got them right back with a two-run shot from Micaela Wark to make it 2-2.
Both teams traded home runs in the third to knot the score at 3-3.
Then the bottom of the fourth inning happened for OSU.
The scored six runs that inning, including RBIs from Becker, Naomi and Tallen Edwards.
Naomi had the most RBIs that inning as she hit a three-run blast to make it 9-3.

Virginia Tech cut the deficit to three after a three-run home run.
OSU didn’t score in the fifth or sixth, and Virginia Tech did to make it all tied up going into the seventh inning.
Katie Lott was the hero for OSU as she drove in Factor to make the Cowgirls a winner 10-9.
That was the last close game of the tournament as the next two proved to be blowouts.
OSU first faced Louisiana on Saturday, and things were slow until the third inning.
Naomi blew it open again with a grand slam to put the Cowgirls up 4-2.
The next three innings is where OSU put it on them as the scored eight straight runs, including another grand slam from Wynne in the fifth.
Maxwell was her usual self with 10 strikeouts as OSU won 12-2 in five innings.
Next was Michigan, and it was the same result for the Cowgirls.
Lexi Kilfoyl, Bailee Runner and Ivy Rosenberry all got some time in the circle, only allowing six runs combined.
Edwards got the show started for OSU with a homer in the first to give OSU the lead.
OSU was on fire as they scored seven runs in the first three innings.
After Michigan scored four in the fourth to make it 7-4, OSU was looking for something to get those runs back.
The Cowgirls did just that as they scored two runs to make it a 9-4 lead heading into the fifth.
After a run by OSU in the fifth to make it 10-4, Michigan scored two in the bottom half to make it 10-6
Then the red-hot bats for OSU came back as they scored five runs in the sixth, including a Wark three-run bomb, and ended the game in run rule fashion 15-6.

OSU bats were outstanding this weekend as they hit 12 homers on the weekend, which included four from Naomi herself.
With a perfect 5-0 on the weekend, OSU returns to action in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Friday at 10 a.m. against New Mexico in the Troy Cox Classic.
