OSU football: Linebacker Patrick Macon to graduate and transfer

Another Oklahoma State football player announced Tuesday his intentions to transfer.

Linebacker Patrick Macon, who transferred from Arizona Western, announced via his Twitter plans to graduate and transfer for his final season of eligibility.

Macon never played in his two seasons as a Cowboy. He redshirted in 2017 and suffered a foot injury before the 2018 season. Macon was awarded the National Junior College Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year at Arizona Western in 2016.  He tallied 122 tackles, 27.5 of those for loss. He also held offers from San Diego State and Utah State.
