Oklahoma State found out its opponent in the Big 12 tournament on Monday.
After Oklahoma swept OSU on Sunday, the Cowgirls are the No. 3 seed in the Big 12 tournament, and will take on Kansas in the first round.
The Cowgirls swept Kansas earlier in the year, giving up only six runs in the series.
Micaela Wark was the star in the series opener against the Jayhawks as she hit the two-run home run that gave the Cowgirls the 7-5 win.
In game two, it was the Kelly Maxwell show as she tallied 11 strikeouts on the Jayhawks, giving OSU the 5-1 win.
Game three of the series was all about the offense for Oklahoma State. OSU secured 11 hits, including 2 RBIs each from the former Jayhawks Wark and Morgyn Wynne, winning the series-finale 7-0.
These past few weeks have not been so kind to the Cowgirls. Oklahoma State has lost 10 of its last 12 games, scoring on average only three runs per game in those games.
The Cowgirls will play the Jayhawks on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
