For the fourth straight season, the Oklahoma Sooners have gone streaking.
Patty Gasso’s top-ranked squad has put together an unbeaten run of at least 30 games each of the last four complete seasons, but OU’s 2023 streak has been special.
The Sooners swept Oklahoma State to close the regular season, tying the program record of 41 consecutive wins, first set in 2019.
Both streaks are tied for the second-longest unbeaten run in NCAA Division I softball history, trailing only Arizona’s 47-game win streak the Wildcats set across the 1996-1997 seasons.
