Oklahoma Lands Commitment From Local RB
The Sooners picked up their third commitment in the past week on Tuesday night, marking their ninth member of the 2024 class.

MIDWEST CITY — Oklahoma has landed a 2024 running back.

Carl Albert senior Xavier Robinson committed to the Sooners on Tuesday evening during an announcement at his high school.

The 3-star tailback from Oklahoma City chose the Sooners over Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame and others.

“I’m gonna take my talents to the University of Oklahoma,” he told the crowd.

When asked what set the Sooners’ apart from the other schools in Robinson’s recruitment, the Titans star cited his relationship with OU running backs coach DeMarco Murray. The OKC native also mentioned that he grew up watching Oklahoma.
