After a slow start, the Sooners’ hard-hitting first baseman is on a tear with four home runs in her last three games.
Oklahoma first baseman Cydney Sanders keyed the start of the Sooners‘ new winning streak with a massive week at the plate.
OU’s hard-hitting junior on Tuesday was named Big 12 Player of the Week.
Sanders batted .714 last week with four home runs and nine RBIs in the Sooners’ three-game sweep of Iowa State in the Big 12 Conference opener. She also drew five walks.
