OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Spark nabbed the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Texas Smoke on Monday. The game was tied at three with Oklahoma City Spark batting in the bottom of the fifth when Fa Leilua homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Oklahoma City Spark earned the victory despite allowing Texas Smoke to score three runs in the third inning. Texas Smoke’s big inning was driven by a sac fly by Baylee Klinger and a double by Charla Echols.
