Sooners Defeat BGSU in Extras, Run-Rule Abilene Christian
NORMAN — Kasidi Pickering came up clutch with a walk-off three-run home run in an 8-5 game one win against Bowling Green (2-7) and Cydney Sanders tallied three of her seven RBIs in game two to help No. 2 OU Softball (14-0) defeat Abilene Christian (3-11), 9-1, Monday, Feb. 24.
The Sooners swept the home-opening weekend tournament, with Pickering and Sanders tallying seven RBIs apiece. The Oklahoma pitching staff worked a 1.40 ERA, with Sam Landry going 2-0 with 15 strikeouts in 7.2 innings.
