OPENING KICK

• In a matchup of the Big 12’s only ranked teams in the AP and AFCA Coaches polls, No. 12/12 Oklahoma (5-0, 2-0) plays No. 3/4 Texas (5-0, 2-0) for the 95th straight year in Dallas when the teams meet on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT at the Cotton Bowl. The AT&T Red River Rivalry will be televised by ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe announcing. OU is the designated visiting team.

• Saturday’s game will mark the 119th meeting between Oklahoma and Texas, with the first matchup occurring Oct. 10, 1900, in Austin. Since 1929, the Sooners and Longhorns have played annually at Fair Park in Dallas. The game has been played inside the Cotton Bowl every year since 1937.
