Week 11 Recap – Late Night Fantasy

WEEK 11 – The Legion of Boom is disintegrating. The Vikings defense can get them into the Super Bowl. The Cowboys are lost without Zeke. These are some of the big takeaways from a big week 11, but the biggest of all might be that the Philadelphia Eagles are a step above the rest of the NFL right now.

In their 37-9 thrashing of the Cowboys, Carson Wentz and the rushing attack went up and down the field with ease, and they even completed 3 2 point conversions after their kicker Jake Elliot went down. The defense is legit, and they haven’t missed a beat in multiple weeks.

The New Orleans Saints battled back to keep their winning streak alive as well, currently at 8. Next week they take on the Rams, who were shut down by the Vikings in a potential playoff rematch. But the story of week 11 was the continued success of the Saints run game, and it was on point again. Ingram ran for 134 yards on just 11 carriers and scored a TD, and Kamara added 115 yards of total offense out of the backfield as well. They are becoming the best 1-2 punch at the running back position.

Big Ben finally figured it out for at least one game in the Thursday Night rout of the Titans. His 36 fantasy points, combined with Antonio Brown’s 42, the Steelers offense were a fantasy owners dream. Brown was everywhere downfield, catching 10 times and had 3 scores of his own.

The biggest surprise of the week was the resurgence of the LA Chargers offense, which was helped out by Tyrod Taylor’s replacement, Nathan Peterman throwing five, yes five interceptions in the first half. The Chargers capitalized and scored 54 points. Keenan Allen had his best game of the season, with 12 catches, 159 yards and two touchdowns( 39 points).

Other top performers from week 11:

QB: Kirk Cousins – 322 yards, 3 touchdowns – 31 points

RB: Latavius Murray – 95 yards, 2 touchdowns – 22 points

RB: LeSean Mccoy -114 yards, 2 total touchdowns – 25 points

WR: Kenny Stills – 180 yards, 1 touchdown – 31 points

D/ST: Chargers – 2 touchdown, 5 interceptions, 24 points
