Week 10 – It is now clear who the best teams in the NFL are, and week 10 featured dominant performances by those teams. The Rams swallowed up the Texans and Tom Savage 33-3, featuring a cool 171 yard, two TD day for Robert Woods.
The Saints won again, and broke a franchise record for rushing touchdowns with 6. Ingram had 3, Kamara had one and even Drew Brees had one. Drew Brees’ lack of touchdowns the last three weeks is surprising, but the Saints are winning and the formula looks to remain on the ground.
The Patriots took the Broncos to task, beating up on them 41 to 16 in Denver, and the Broncos defense had no answers the entire game. 9 players caught passes from Brady, who threw for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns.
MNF featured a complete game for the Panthers, both in the air and on the ground. Cam threw for 4 touchdowns, and ran for nearly 100 to dominate the QB spot this week in points with 43. Christian McCaffrey and Devin Funchess will be the focal point of the offense going forward, and that was apparent last night. 3 touchdowns between the two, and nearly 20 touches made up a bulk of the offensive production.
In the Cowboys first game without Zeke, the offense couldn’t really get it going. The absence of All-World LT Tyron Smith didn’t help. His back up allowed Adrian Clayborn to sack Dak 6 times on his own. Alfred Morris and Rod Smith were on tap to gain Zeke’s carries, but neither provided any fantasy value.
The Minnesota Vikings won again, and Case Keenum continued to impress Minnesota fans. Keenum threw for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns, and got top fantasy options Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen involved early and a lot. Theilen caught 8 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown, while Diggs had 4, 78 and a touchdown.
