VIDEO: Thunder get great “late” and beat Miami 105-99

Shooting just 3-17 from beyond the 3-point line, and trailing 66-64 after three quarters, it appeared Oklahoma City was headed for another disappointing loss.  But the Thunder, ignited by Russell Westbrook’s 17-point 4th quarter, caught fire for 41 points in the final frame and raced past the Miami Heat in the end 105-99.  Oklahoma City was 5/9 beyond the arc in the final frame and score one more point in the final quarter than they did in the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined.

An hour or so later, the Thunder found out Portland lost at home to Boston 105-100, giving OKC an opportunity to pass the Blazers by a few percentage points if wins against Portland Sunday 6p.m. at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
