Tony Romo Suffers Broken Bone in Back; Out 6-10 Weeks

Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys suffered a broken bone in his back after a hit he took by the Seattle Seahawks’ Cliff Avril.

Jason La Canfora reported that Romo will miss 6-10 weeks with the back injury.

An MRI revealed the damage on Saturday afternoon.

Rookie Dak Prescott–who impressed in the preaseason–will presumably fill the quarterback role for the Dallas Cowboys in the interim.
