Tony Romo Out For The Rest Of The Season

The official diagnosis on Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo confirmed the team’s worst fears, but also came with a bit of hope for the future.

Speaking on 105.3 FM Friday morning, owner Jerry Jones said that Romo suffered a hairline fracture in his left clavicle against the Panthers on Thursday. However, the fracture will not require surgery, giving Romo a standard timetable to recover which will not infringe on the offseason. According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, he should be good as new in eight weeks.
