Thunder put a bow on it

Last night the Oklahoma City Thunder faced off against one of Jon Hamm’s most feared teams in the NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks.

Too bad they have done anything but meet expectations this year. The Bucks do have one badge of honor right now, they are the only team to beat Golden State. This accomplish looks a little tarnished now looking at the Bucks (12-20) going into last night things seemed to be going down hill.

Billy Donovan spoke at length about… well their length and early in the game it became a real factor. Kevin early in the game struggle from the floor starting 2-9 from the field and 0-3 from the three point line. A poor start to what has been a hot month for KD.

The Thunder though eventually turned on the burners and got the offense really going. The Thunder score 131 points in regulation. Yes. 131 points. In 4 quarters.

Awesome! How… wait… what do you mean I need to be upset?

Oh, yeah they gave up 123 points. This game was needless to say a shoot out and the poor defense of the Thunder made a showing of its ugly head again. The Thunder give 58 points in the paint… AGAIN.

This a reoccurring theme in ever wrap up. Interior defense.

Big take aways?

Cameron Payne had 16 points in  minutes, 2-3 from deep including a buzzer beating 3 at the end of the 1st quarter. The backup point guard? He has arrived.

The Thunder defense isn’t getting better, it is getting worse.. a lot worse.

Kevin can be slowed down, the past two times we have seen it it as been because of Jimmy Butler and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Length. Length messes with Durant.

They win games they maybe shouldn’t good sign.
