Thomas Will Start Bedlam for OU

Cody Thomas looked great last week handing the ball off to Samaje Perine on the running back’s record day. So it looks like he will have the chance to do it again.

OU coach Bob Stoops announced Monday that Thomas will start his third career game Saturday in the Bedlam Game against Oklahoma State.

“(Thomas) had a couple of weeks of good practices in the way he’s throwing the football,” Stoops said of Thomas. “That part of the game, hopefully, we can improve over the last couple of weeks that we’ve had to go with the running game.

“I’m confident that we’ll be able to put that together more this week. I expect to have a good day weather wise, so we’re anxious to see that happen.”
