It’s hard to believe that the college football regular season has come to an end. For the most part, I can say it has been an enjoyable season. There have been fantastic finishes, Hail Mary’s, and even the occasional defensive battle.
What have we learned though all of this? Championships, or championship games matter? I’m still confused on that one. Does the ‘eye test’, consist of how you look in pads, or how you play? Is your body clock the same thing as jet lag?
Obviously, these questions will probably never be answered in a way that makes sense, and I believe that is exactly how the powers that be want it to stay.
The entire idea of a conspiracy was brilliant on their part. What better way to keep the game relevant through the summer. We will talk Big 12 expansion, and if the name on the helmet was the only reason OU got in. We will hammer teams for their non conference foes, and try to figure out if the little guys will ever get a chance to get in. All in all, I believe the right four got into the playoff, so hats off to the 12 member jury. Now all that is left is to sit back, watch way too many bowl games, and wait for New Years Eve.
