Texas Tech Sweeps Oklahoma During Weekend Series, Set For Bedlam

The Sooners, 30-18 overall and 10-6 in Big 12 play, lost the series opener 10-6 against the Red Raiders, 33-14 and 14-7. Catcher Brady Lindsly drove in four on three hits, including a two-run home run and a two-run single. Starter Nathan Wiles allowed four runs, three earned, and struck out four in 5 1/3 innings. Reliever Zack Matthews earned his third loss after allowing two runs in the seventh inning.

OU lost game two 7-3. Lindsly hit a two-run home run and center fielder Tanner Tredaway got three hits. Starter Levi Prater allowed a run and struck out six in six innings. Reliever Ledgend Smith earned his first loss after allowing two runs in the seventh.

OU lost the series finale 8-4. Right fielder Brady Harlan hit a RBI single and a RBI double. Starter Ben Abram earned his second loss after allowing four runs and striking out two in three innings.

OU will play the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 28-16 and 10-8, for a three-game weekend series, which can be heard on:

Sunday- Franchise 107.7 FM at 1:30 p.m.
