Shinn: With no Remaining Byes, Sooners Look to Maintain Momentum


 “Given the five-game winning streak and mostly healthy team, the OU coach is pleased there are no more bye weeks this season.

“My answer today would be absolutely not with the way we are playing,” he said. “Hopefully we can again have a great week with what we do this week to give ourselves the best opportunity to beat TCU this weekend.”

The last several years, OU has played a game the first Saturday in December. Stoops reiterated Monday that he would prefer to play on the final week of the season. He doesn’t want potential College Football Playoff teams playing while his team is done.”
