Ron Tatum Commits To Longhorns (Video)

Tom Herman continues to have a recruiting impact in the state of Oklahoma as the Longhorns land 4 Star Defensive End Ron Tatum, a Junior at Putnam City High School. This is not the first big recruit out of Oklahoma that the University of Texas has landed in the early stages of the 2018 recruiting trail. South Moore High School Quarterback Casey Thompson, son of former Sooner Charles, brother of Kendal, recently committed to Texas for the ’18 season. The 6’5 270lb Defensive End had narrowed his options down to five teams: Georgia, TCU, Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma. After teasing the crowd with his decision, Tatum finally decided to don the burnt orange. Tatum is the fourth 4 star recruit for the Longhorns in the 2018 class.
