Johnson was drafted 48th overall in the 2015 NBA draft. He’s spent his career across the street with the Thunder’s D-League affiliate, the Blue.
Last season, Johnson averaged 18.5 points, 8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game on 68% shooting. He was named to the D-League All-Star Game.
A legit 7-footer, Johnson has all the physical tools to be an effective NBA player. Sam Presti and the Thunder front office are hoping that he can harness his potential/ For now, Johnson will fill out the bottom part of the roster and will likely spend a good amount of time with the Blue.
