Ranking EVERY High School Boys Basketball Team – B

Ranking EVERY High School Boys Basketball Team – B

I’ve been on a quest for quite some time now to find a fair way to rank every team in every class in high school baskeball in the hopes that one day, our high school basketball championships will be decided by a true “March Madness” single elimination tournament.

I’ve been trying to tweak a ranking system for the last few years and have come up with a ranking that takes into account whether you won or lost, how big your opponent’s school is, whether you played the game at home, away or neutral, and if the team you played was ranked in the coach’s poll at ossaarankings.com.

These rankings only take into account games against OSSAA teams, so if a team has only played 1 or 2 games against OSSAA teams, they could be ranked way too high or way too low. These rankings are as of 1/1/2016.
