PICKIN’ AND CHOOSIN’

PICKIN’ AND CHOOSIN’

I have to admit, I have been very hard on this selection group of 12. From the word go, I have watched their every move like a lion stalking its’ prey, and deservedly so. I don’t want the people of this great state to be fooled. I want the people to have an idea of what is really going on.
With that being said, I have to say, that their job is difficult. Yes, I’m being sarcastic. It is difficult to watch both OU and OSU play. Because obviously Notre Dame’s win over Navy, their best win, makes them a solid number 4. That win is way more impressive than beating Baylor and TCU, right?
Did I leave out Iowa? How could I do that. This is the most balanced team offensively and defensively. Last I checked, OU and Clemson are the only top 10 teams that are ranked in the top 10 on both offense and defense.
Oh yes, the Big 12 is ’emerging’. Emerging from what? Last year, two one loss teams were left out of the playoffs. This year an undefeated OSU, can’t get a sniff, and a one loss OU is right behind them. At least last year the group of 12 gave Big 12 fans hope by throwing TCU and Baylor in the mix for a few weeks. This year two one loss teams are ahead of an undefeated OSU. I call that submerging.
