The Sooners and Cowboys will meet for the 235th time on the hardwood in Stillwater, Oklahoma today. First time around this season, No. 4 Oklahoma used an early second half run to eventually blowout their in-state rival 109-89. Freshman point guard Trae Young spoke after that game about Bedlam being about who wants to run the state, and Oklahoma has an opportunity to get their seventh sweep of the Cowboys since 2006.

No. 4 Oklahoma comes into today’s game with a three-way tie for second place in the Big 12. The Sooners are right in the hunt for a Big 12 Championship, and back-to-back losses would give Kansas some breathing room before traveling to Norman on Tuesday.

Oklahoma State comes into today’s game tied for seventh in the Big 12 with a 2-4 record. In three conference games at home, the Cowboys are 2-1 with their lone loss coming at the hands of West Virginia in a six-point game.

A loss for either team would hurt their chances of maintaining their standing in the Big 12.

No. 4 Oklahoma and Oklahoma State come into today’s game after a loss.

The Sooners suffered their worst loss of the season on the road to unranked Kansas State Tuesday night 87-69, bringing Lon Kruger’s record back home in Manhattan to 1-6.

Oklahoma State suffered a 76-60 loss to Baylor on Monday.

Today is Oklahoma State’s “Remember the Ten” game, honoring the ten victims of the 2001 plane crash that passed way.
