OU Athletic Events Coming Up

Here is a list of upcoming events for University of Oklahoma Athletics:

 

OU Softball- The OU Softball team will be hosting a tournament this weekend with games against Saint Louis, Brigham Young, and Maryland. This Friday, March 11th the Sooners play Saint Louis at 3:30pm and Brigham Young at 5:45pm. Saturday, March 12th the Sooners play Brigham Young at 3:30pm and Maryland at 5:45pm. The Sooners finish out the tournament with a game against Maryland on Sunday, March 13th at 12:00pm.

OU Baseball- The OU Baseball team is coming off a much needed 4-2 win at home against Wichita State yesterday. The Sooners sit at 5-7-1 on the season so far with a three game home stand coming up this weekend against Long Beach State. First pitches at L. Dale Mitchell Park this weekend are Friday at 6:00pm, Saturday at 2:00pm, and Sunday at 12:00pm. Make sure to head out to the ballpark this weekend!

OU Track & Field- The OU Track & Field teams are on to the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama this Friday, March 11th at 10:00am and Saturday, March 12th at 10:30am.

OU Men’s Tennis- The #13 ranked OU Men’s Tennis team are playing the University of Virginia on Saturday, March 12th at 12:00pm. The play will be held at the Michael D. Case Center at the University of Tulsa.

OU Women’s Tennis- Next on the schedule for the OU Women’s Tennis team is the Tulsa Golden Hurricane today at 5:o0pm in Tulsa.

OU Women’s Gymnastics- The #1 ranked OU Women’s Gymnastics team will be competing against UCLA for a meet on Sunday, March 13th in Los Angeles, California.

OU Men’s Gymnastics- The #1 ranked OU Men’s Gymnastics team will be on road against Ohio State University this Friday, March 11th at 4:00pm in Columbus, Ohio.

OU Men’s Basketball- The #6 ranked OU Men’s Basketball team opens up the Big 12 Championship tournament in Kansas City, MO with matchup against Iowa State tomorrow night at 8:00pm. The Sooners and Cyclones have put up some shows in recent matchups in the Big 12 Touranment. It should be a high scoring affair when these two meet.

OU Women’s Basketball- The #23 ranked OU Women’s Basketball team recently got knocked out of the Big 12 Conference Championship Tournament with an 84-57 loss to Baylor. The Lady Sooners now await their seeding for the NCAA Women’s Tournament.

OU Wrestling- The #7 ranked OU Wrestling team is on to the NCAA Championships which start Thursday, March 17th and end on Saturday, March 19th.
