The Oklahoma State basketball team defeated Memphis, 84-64, in the quarterfinals of the AdvoCare Invitational on Thursday.

The Cowboys had six players score in double figures, with Thomas Dziagwa’s 14 points pacing the team. Michael Weathers (13), Yor Anei (12), Isaac Likekele (11), Cameron McGriff (11) and Lindy Waters (10) rounded out the Cowboys who scored in double digits.

Anei also tied the OSU freshman records for blocks, tallying six in 17 minutes of play. McGriff recorded his second double-double of the season, as he grabbed 12 rebounds. As a team, OSU’s nine blocks set the AdvoCare Invitational record.

Graduate transfer guard Mike Cunningham made his season debut, scoring eight points on 3-of-7 shooting, including a 2-of-4 clip from deep. He missed the first three games because of a hamstring injury.

Dziagwa hit at least four 3s for the fourth straight game.

The Cowboys (3-1 overall) will face defending national champion Villanova at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Wildcats defeated Canisius in the opening round Thursday.
