Oklahoma Wins Series Against Rice

The Sooners, 13-3 overall, lost the series opener 8-1 on Friday. Center fielder Brady Harlan drove in a run and starter Cade Cavalli earned the lose after allowing five runs, four earned in 3 2/3 innings.

OU won game two 17-8  on Saturday. Third baseman Brylie Ware led the charge with four hits and five RBIs. Reliever Aaron Brooks closed the seventh with a strikeout to earn the win.

OU won the series finale 6-0 on Sunday. Catcher Brady Lindsly and Cavalli combined for five RBIS, and starter Levi Prater struck out nine in eight scoreless innings.

OU will return home to host the Texas-Arlington Mavericks on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
