Oklahoma Wins 5-2 Against Oral Roberts In Tulsa

The Oklahoma Sooners (21-10) defeated the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (16-11) 5-2 Tuesday night at J.L. Johnson Stadium in Tulsa.

Oklahoma shortstop Brandon Zaragoza started the scoring in Tuesday’s game with a RBI single in the third inning. Lead-off hitter Cade Harris scored twice in OU’s victory.

OU starter Kyle Tyler pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowed two runs, one earned, walked two and struck out nine to earn his second win. Then, junior Austin Hansen retired eight consecutive hitters, five on strikeouts, to seal the three-run victory and earn his second save.

OU’s next series will be April 6-8 at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth, TX against the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs (14-11).
