Oklahoma Win Series Against Minnesota, To Face Wichita State

Oklahoma Sooners
The Sooners, 27-14 overall, won a three-game weekend series against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 17-20. OU lost the series opener 8-1. Shortstop Brandon Zaragoza hit a RBI groundout. Starter Cade Cavalli struck out five and allowed four runs in four innings to earn his second loss.
OU won game two 2-1. First baseman Tyler Hardman hit a RBI double and earned a RBI walk. Starter Nathan Wiles allowed a run and struck out six in 6 1/3 innings to earn his sixth win. Eventually, closer Jason Ruffcorn struck out four in 1 1/3 innings to earn his ninth save.
OU won the series finale 5-2. Catcher Brady Lindsly drove in two and had two hits and right fielder Brady Harlan had a hit and drove in three. Starter Levi Prater allowed two runs and struck out five in 6 2/3 innings to earn his sixth win. Then, Ruffcorn earned his 10th save with a shutout ninth.
OU will travel to Wichita, Kansas, to face the Wichita State Shockers, 20-19, which can be heard on:
