Oklahoma Sweeps New Mexico In Two-Game Series In Albuquerque

First baseman Tyler Hardman got two hits in the series opener, including his two-run double, for the 18-4 overall Sooners. Also, center fielder Brady Harlan earned five walks in the 8-1 win against the Lobos, 11-9. Starter Ben Abrams earned his fifth win with four strikeouts in six innings of one-run ball.

Infielder Conor McKenna got two hits and drove in three in the series finale. McKenna was one of four Sooners with two hits in the 8-6 win. Starter Jaret Godman earned his second win with 3 1/3 shutout innings and reliever Jason Ruffcorn earned his fourth save with a four-out shutout outing.

OU will host the Kansas Jayhawks, 13-7, for a three-game weekend series starting on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
