Oklahoma State’s Winning Streak Ends Against Oral Roberts

The Oklahoma State Cowboys (27-15-1) lost 6-5 to the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (27-15) Tuesday night in Tulsa.

 

OSU was held scoreless before shortstop Matt Kroon’s three-run double followed pinch hitter Dylan Gardner and second baseman Ryan Cash’s RBI walks in the seventh inning.

 

OSU starter Brady Basso allowed five runs in the first inning before relievers Reza Aleaziz and Ben Leeper combined for seven innings of one-run ball with a walk and eight strikeouts.

 

OSU will travel to Iowa City, Iowa, for a three-game weekend series against the Iowa Hawkeyes (26-15).

 

First pitch for these games are:

Saturday at 2:05 p.m.

 

Sunday at 6:05 p.m.
