Oklahoma State Wins Series Against Wright State

The Cowboys won two of three games against the Raiders at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. OSU is 5-2 overall.

First baseman Christian Funk doubled OSU’s lead with a two-run double in the seventh inning. Funk’s double allowed starting pitcher Jensen Elliot to earn his first win at Allie P. Reynolds since his Tommy John surgery. OSU won the series opener 4-0.

Funk hit two of OSU’s five home runs, which helped it score 17 runs in game two. The run support helped pitcher Peyton Battenfield earn the win after 3 2/3 innings of relief. OSU won 17-5.

The Raiders broke the tie with a wild pitch in the ninth inning. OSU lost 5-4.

OSU will face Oral Roberts, 3-3, on Tuesday at 4:05 p.m. CT.
