Oklahoma State Takes Two of Three During Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic

The Cowboys, 9-5 overall, beat USC 11-6 on Friday. Left fielder Carson McCusker and designated hitter Bryce Carter each drove in two against the Trojans. Reliever Peyton Battenfield earned the win after seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts.

OSU lost 6-3 against UCLA on Saturday. Center fielder Trevor Boone got three hits and the pitching staff allowed four runs, four walks and struck out six.

OSU won 3-2 against Michigan on Sunday. Designated hitter Colin Simpson drove in three and Boone hit a solo home run, and reliever Brady Basso earned the win after a four-out scoreless appearance and closer Ben Leeper struck out the side for his third save.

OSU will return home to face Missouri State, 3-10, on Tuesday at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium at 3:35 p.m.
