Oklahoma State Swept In Lubbock, To Play Oral Roberts

The Red Raiders, 29-13 overall and 10-7 Big 12, swept the Cowboys, 25-16 and 10-8, in a three-game weekend series. OSU lost the series opener 12-4.  Shortstop Andrew Navigato drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and hit a solo home run. Center Fielder Trevor Boone hit a two-run home run. Starter Jensen Elliot allowed seven runs and struck out one in two innings to earn his third loss.

OSU lost game two 10-2. Boone hit a two-run home run. Starter Parker Scott allowed four runs, two earned, and struck out four in four innings to earn his first loss.

OSU lost the series finale 5-2. Boone hit a RBI single and designated hitter Bryce Carter hit a solo home run. Starter Brett Standlee allowed four runs and struck out five in 6 1/3 innings to earn his first loss.

OSU will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to face the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, 22-18, for a Tuesday matchup at 6 p.m.
