Oklahoma State Sweeps Texas, To Host Oral Roberts

The Cowboys, 25-13 overall, sweep Texas, 24-18, in a three-game weekend series. OSU won the series opener 15-0. Center fielder Trevor Boone hit three home runs, which was the third time he hit three home runs in a game this season. First baseman Alix Garcia hit a solo home run. Starter Jensen Elliot struck out seven in a one-hit complete game.

OSU won game two 10-2. Second baseman Hueston Morrill hit a solo home run before designated hitter Carson McCusker hit a grand slam. Starter Parker Scott earned his second win with eight strikeouts in seven shutout innings.

OSU shortstop Andrew Navigato hit a walk-off single to help OSU win the series finale 11-10. In addition to his walk-off single, Navigato hit a two-run double.

OSU will host the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, 19-18, Tuesday at 6:05 p.m.
