Oklahoma State Makes History as the First No. 8 Seed Team to go 3-0 in the Big 12 Championship

Down goes West Virginia… Again. Oklahoma State faced West Virginia in a rematch with hopes of securing their spot in the Big 12 championship game, and they did exactly that coming out with a 4-3 win over the Mountaineers in 10 innings. The Cowboys are the first No. 8 seed team to win the first three games of the Big 12 Championship, and Cowboy freshman Ryan Cash said this week has been the strongest the Cowboys have been this season.

“We’re playing strong, and everyone is playing together as a team; as one unit,” Cash said. “We’re doing a good job on both sides of the ball, and everyone is producing, especially our pitchers. It’s all about surviving and advancing.”
