Oklahoma State Falls At Home Against Oral Roberts; Set To Host Kansas

The Oklahoma State Cowboys (20-14-1) lost 10-5 against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (21-14) Tuesday night at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

 

Infielder Matt Kroon and designated hitter Colin Simpson started the offense with back-to-back solo home runs in the first inning before right fielder Carson McCusker hit a RBI double in the second. In the seventh, Simpson drove in a run with a sacrifice fly before pinch hitter Cade Cabbiness hit a solo home run in the ninth.

 

Starter Reza Aleaziz pitched four innings, struck out three and allowed two runs, both unearned, to score. Following Aleaziz, six relievers combined for nine strikeouts, six walks and eight earned runs to score.

 

OSU will finish its homestand with a three-game series against the Kansas Jayhawks (19-16) April 20-22.
