Oklahoma State Beats Dallas Baptist, To Host Texas

The Cowboys beat the Patriots 6-3. OSU, 22-13 overall, center fielder Trevor Boone hit a two-run home run and catcher Colin Simpson hit a solo home run against Dallas Baptist, 25-11. Starter C.J. Valera allowed a run and struck out one in 2 2/3 innings. Eventually, reliever John Kelly earned his first win after allowing a run and striking out two in one inning before reliever Logan Gragg earned his second save after striking out one in a shutout ninth inning.

OSU will host the Texas Longhorns, 24-15, for a three-game series starting on Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
